Tom Spano, former Head of Event Marketing for Twitter, has joined Onyx.

Scott Stewart Joins Onyx

We are excited to announce that Scott Stewart has joined Onyx, Inc. as Director of Business Development and will work from its Charlotte, North Carolina location. Scott has over 30 years of industry experience, partnering with the nation’s largest promotional products distributors and consistently winning enterprise program business by matching his client’s needs to his company’s strengths. He is charged with the same goal at Onyx, plus he has new capabilities to share.

“Being able to offer incentive programs and Purchasing Power employee programs is a big deal for me” explains Stewart. “I have many clients that run these types of programs, but I could not help them in the past. Now, I can provide a more complete portfolio of services, and I can’t wait to make these introductions.”

Scott is also enthusiastic about Onyx’s east-west coast presence, its global reach, and the quality of its team. “With the Charlotte office in close proximity, I can be hand’s on and fully engaged from start to finish.” Scott is focused on growing Onyx’s sales presence in the southeast. He is also making introductions to specific companies that can benefit from Onyx’s high-touch service, creativity, promotional product and brand expertise, as well as its technology and fulfillment services.

Celebrating Hank Ryan – 1 year Onyx anniversary

It’s been 1 year since Onyx acquired 4U Inc. so it’s a great opportunity to celebrate Onyx’s Director of Incentives, Hank Ryan. Hank’s tenure with 4U began in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, where he learned the business and grew the business by making one client happy at a time.  His $5M incentive client base was earned through patience, good relationships, and delivering on promises.

Until last year, there was a 10,000 ft warehouse with premium products 30 feet from Hank’s desk, but Onyx’s on demand delivery system & its powerful and flexible incentive platform have streamlined operations. Gift Card Scam: Crooks Can Drain the Money Off Your Cards

Gift cards are a popular holiday gift item, with sales expected to reach 27 billion this holiday season.  If gift cards are on your holiday shopping list, you need to be aware that thieves are stealing balances by scratching off the strip, writing down the number, then placing another strip on top, making this scam difficult to detect for the average person.  At present, this is only affecting physical gift cards purchased in stores with easy access to the cards, like grocery stores.

Onyx, Inc Partners with Rancho Deluxe Promotions

We are excited to announce the partnership between Onyx, Inc, and Rancho Deluxe Promotions, headquartered in Bozeman, MT. Founder John Weber and Director of Sales Kyle Hogan have joined the Onyx team and will continue to work from their respective sales offices in Bozeman and Las Vegas.
